The Sagami Lake Sakura Festival is a captivating event set to take place from March 16th to April 14th, 2024, at the Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest in Kanagawa Prefecture. With an impressive display of approximately 2,500 cherry blossom trees, it’s among Kanto’s largest cherry blossom viewing events.

One of the highlights of the festival is the Pair Lift, an attraction that provides panoramic views of the cherry blossoms adorning the slopes. From this point, guests can have a wide view of cherry blossoms on the hills, and admire the delicate pink blossoms with colorful flowers like peaches and plums, making a beautiful scene against the resort’s natural scenery.

For those seeking a thrill, if they head to the top of the park they will find exhilarating attractions such as the Wind Sky suspension bridge and the Muscle Monster play area. Here, among the cherry blossoms, visitors can try a range of fun activities while enjoying enjoy amazing views of the landscape around them.
The festival also features unique and exciting rides that you can only find in amusement parks, including the adrenaline-pumping Sky Paradise ride and the fun F-1 Kart experience, both of which offer a new and different way to enjoy cherry blossom viewing.
As night falls, the magic starts with the Night Sakura Illumillion, a magical display featuring six million lights illuminating around 2,000 cherry blossoms, transforming the park into a romantic fairy tale land under the stars. Visitors can view the most beautiful Yozakura in Japan. Yozakura means “viewing sakura at night.” The vast illumination is divided into several areas, especially “Hikari no Hanabatake” (Lighting Flower Garden) area is recommendable for sakura lovers.
